Detailed Description
The starting point will be at 11:00 AM at Hackescher Markt where you will meet your local guide and start with this historical and culinary adventure. As a first point you will walk along the Berlin wall while listening to the stories about the Jews who lived in the center of the city. You will see places like the Alhambra influenced synagogue, Nordbahnhof Ghost Station, a magnificent 20's dance house and much more.
But not everything is about history, during this 4 hour walking tour you can also visit different local restaurants where you will taste delicious typical German snacks. You will taste Berlin's famous street food "Currywurst", you will visit the oldest bakery in the city, you will taste local beers and you will enjoy local cheeses and meats along with a delicious regional wine.
You will always be accompanied by your local guide who will talk about the gastronomic scene in Berlin and the influence of the culinary culture in its history. You will have recommendations on where to eat and drink during your stay in this beautiful city. The tour will end at approximately 3:00 PM at the Brandenburg Gate.

How much walking is involved?
We categorize the level of the tours as ‘easy‘. We have organised a very good mix of walking and sitting and eating, so you are never on your feet too long.

Will there be too little or too much food?
If anything there will be slightly too much food on offer. There is a tasting session at each of the six stops.

At what age are children free?
If your child is under the age of 12 years old and wants to join and eat on the tour, we offer a € 4.00 EUR discount. Simply purchase the adult ticket and the remaining amount will be discounted when paid in full on the day of the tour.
