Half Day Tour of Gatun Lake and Monkey Island from Panama City
This tour begins when you are picked up at your hotel/residence in Panama City. You will be taken to Gatun Lake, where you will board a boat that will take you to Monkey Island, you will see different species of monkeys and the huge boats that cross the Canal. The duration of the tour is 4 hours and all the time you will be with an expert local guide. On the way back to Panama City, you will spend 20 minutes on the "Sendero El Charco" and then you will be returned to your residence/hotel.

Detailed Description
Leaving Panama City, this tour takes you to Gatun Lake. The tour can have two start times, the first at 7:30am and the second at 1:00pm. The tour lasts 4 hours.
You will be picked up at your hotel or residence in Panama City to take you Gatun Lake, where you will get on the boat that will take you to Monkey Island, where you can see different types of monkeys.
From the boat, you will see the various huge boats that cross the Canal. Gatun Lake is an artificial lake that is crucial to the operation of the canal. During the trip, the guide will explain several details about the Canal, the wildlife and the nature of the area.
Once you return to the mainland, on the way to Panama City, you will make a 20 minute stop to cross the "Sendero El Charco". After this, you will be returned to your hotel or residence in Panama City.
