Detailed Description

The Hope Street Shivers takes in the Cathedral Quarter of Hope Street, The Philharmonic Dining Rooms, Liverpool’s most famous alehouse.

Your guide will be outside the Philharmonic Pub and from there he will take you to both Cathedrals, Rodney Street and the infamous story of Will McKenzie, Liverpool’s most infamous undead resident. Then you will take in the faded grandeur of the old Wellington Rooms, ending the journey beneath the Gothic majesty of Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral in St James cemetery, (where for over a hundred years something sinister has lurked beneath the shadows…and is now employed on a part time ad-hoc basis for Shiverpool with dental cover (for the fangs).

- If you are Late by 5-10 minutes head down Hope Street to The Catholic Cathedral of Christ the King (You can’t miss it- it’s the rather striking spikey one- approaching, you will pass the Everyman Theatre on your right).
