Detailed Description
Day 1: Arrival at Tortuguero National Park
You will depart from your hotel in the city of San José at 8:00 AM, you will meet the local guide and you will get on the truck that will take you to the Tortuguero National Park. It will be approximately 5 hours of travel where you can admire the most beautiful fields and landscapes of Costa Rica.
Upon arrival in Tortuguero, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will spend the next 2 nights of this magical adventure and you will have some free time to rest from the trip or get to know the place. Then, you will have the option of a night walk through the beautiful turtle nesting beaches, this will only take place from July to October and has an additional cost of $ 25.00 USD.
Day 2: Tour in Canoas
We will wake up at 5:00 AM to make a beautiful naturalistic canoe trip, where you can see the sunrise and admire the beautiful mangroves of the river. Then you will arrive at the hotel to enjoy a tasty homemade breakfast.
The guide will give you recommendations and suggestions of places to know during your stay in Tortuguero as a walk to Cerro Tortuguero, this has an additional value of $ 40.00 USD and lasts approximately 5 hours.
Day 3: Extreme Rafting Adventure
You will leave at 4:50 AM to start with an entertaining boat ride and then a visit to the Exploration Center. You will enjoy a delicious traditional Tico breakfast and then you will travel to the famous Pacuare River where you will go rafting.
Before starting the activity, the local guide will give you the protection equipment along with some instructions to carry out the rafting. In the end, you will take lunch accompanied by a well-deserved rest and finally, you will start the trip back to San José. The tour ends at the same starting point.
