Detailed Description
You will stay for one night in a hotel with private bathroom, fan and wifi. The transfer to and from Copan is in a joined (shared) minibus.
Day 1:
The Copan tour form Antigua starts at 4:00 AM. We will pick you up from any hotel in Antigua. You will join a shared shuttle that takes you to Copan. The shuttle arrives in Copan between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
After check-in you will have some time for lunch (own expense).
At 1:00 PM your private guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour of the Copan archeological ruins (1.5 hours).
Day 2:
At 8:00 AM starts the visit of the Macaw bird park located 2 km from Copan. You will be transferred to the park in a taxi of tuctuc. This bird park takes care of many rescued and endangered tropical birds.
12:00 PM the shuttle will pick you up from your hotel for your shared transfer back to Antigua.
Optional activities are possible for the morning of the second day or add one night and visit the hot springs near Copan!
