Detailed Description
Meet your guide at Acropolis metro station down to the ticket level by the ticket machines at 9:00 AM and walk the short distance to the Acropolis. After picking up your tickets, head inside to explore one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Your guide will take you back in time to ancient Greece with stories of the city and its importance. You will admire the magnificent ruins, most of which date back to the 5th-century BC, including the much-photographed Parthenon, the restored Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion, known for its exquisite Caryatid statues.
After 2 hours in the ruins of the Acropolis, you will continue to the ancient Agora and visit its monuments such as the beautifully preserved Temple of Hephaestus and the renovated Stoa of Attalos. Your 4 hour tour ends in Monastiraki Square in central Athens.
