Detailed Description
The tour begins when you are picked up in a 4x4 vehicle at your hotel or residence in Panama City, around 5:15 am to begin the trip to the port of San Blas.
You will arrive at the port of San Blas around 8:30 am, upon arrival your guide will be waiting for you and he will take you to board the boat towards Aroma Island. Upon arriving at Isla Aroma you will register and you can accommodate your things in your cabin.
You will board the boat again to go to another beautiful island. You will also have lunch on this island at 12:00 pm. After lunch, your guide will take you by boat to another island where you can relax and enjoy its crystal clear waters.
Then your guide will take you by boat to the Natural Swimming Pool where you can see some starfish and take photos with them, but without taking them out of the water, you can also snorkel if you like.
Your guide will take you back to Aroma Island around 3:00 pm when you arrive on the island you can continue enjoying the beach or relax in your cabin until dinner time. You will have dinner at 6:00 pm and then you will spend the night in your cabin in Aroma Island.
On your second day in Aroma Island, you will have breakfast between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. After breakfast, you will spend the morning on the beach of Aroma Island. You will have lunch at around 12:00 pm and after lunch, you can relax in your cabin or spend the afternoon at the beach until dinner time. You will have dinner around 6:00 pm and after finishing dinner you will spend the night in your cabin.
On your third day in Aroma Island, you will have breakfast at 7:00 am. After breakfast, you will be asked to leave your cabin and you will spend the morning on the island's beach. Around 12:00 pm you will be served lunch. After lunch, you can continue enjoying the beach of Aroma Island until 3:00 pm, at this hour you will be given 30 minutes so you can shower and change your clothes and prepare for your return to Panama City.
You will board the boat at 3:30 pm to go to the port. You will be at the port at 4:00 pm to board the 4x4 vehicle that will take you to Panama City.
You will be back at your hotel or residence in Panama City around 7:00 pm.
Information about meals:
- Breakfast: usually breakfast is, eggs with bread or pancakes accompanied by coffee or tea.
- Lunch and Dinner: You can choose between the catch of the day or chicken accompanied by rice with coconut or fried green plantains "patacones" with a glass of water (there is an option to buy a drink for an additional 2 USD).
Accommodation:
- On the island, there are 2 private rudimentary cabins with a sand floor and shared bathroom and their accommodation is 1 double bed.
- On the island, there are 3 private rudimentary cabins with wooden floors and a private bathroom, and their accommodation is 1 large bed and 1 single bed.
- On the island, there are 10 shared cabins. The shared cabins are large, rudimentary wooden structures with a sand floor, with an accommodation of 2 to 10 single beds, depending on the cabin.
- The cabins have a main light, but only until certain hours of the night. The time the light goes out changes depending on the number of people on the island, maybe from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Therefore, it is recommended that you bring a flashlight or that your phone is fully charged. There are no electrical outlets in the cabins.
Bathrooms:
- On the island, there is a shared wash house, that has private bathrooms and private showers. The water is not heated. There is toilet paper in the toilets but recommended to bring your own soaps, shampoos, and bring toilet paper just in case.
