Detailed Description
Departing at 9:30 AM from your hotel in the city of Madrid, you will travel 35 minutes by bus to a family winery that produces organic wines in the town of Alcalá de Henares, a place known as the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes and named World Heritage of UNESCO.
Upon arrival, you can taste delicious wines while you learn about the history of viticulture in the Spanish capital. Throughout the tour you will be accompanied by a wine expert who will narrate interesting facts for you, sharing recipes and more.
The lunch hour arrives, and you can enjoy 3 different dishes accompanied with wine and coffee. Next, you will visit other places such as the University of Alcalá de Henares, the Casa Natal de Cervantes Museum and the Archaeological Museum. Finally, you will travel back to Madrid where the tour will end back at your hotel at approximately 5:30 PM.
