Have fun on a full day tour where, along with your guide, you will tour part of the west coast of Auckland. Enjoying the beautiful views of the rainforest and the panoramic views of Waitakere. You will have the opportunity to walk towards impressive waterfalls, while appreciating the different types of jungle trees. You will also enjoy a lunch and taste the best wines of the region. Detailed Description
Enjoy a unique full day tour on the west coast of Auckland. The meeting point with your guide will be in our offices at 9:30 AM, you will travel aboard a bus that will take you to visit spectacular places on the west coast.
During the morning you will enjoy the beautiful view of the subtropical rainforest of Waitakere, next to the Tasman Sea and some panoramas of the city. You will have the opportunity to experience the isolated beauty and splendor of KareKare, a magnetic surf beach of black iron sand whipped by the Tasman Sea (location of The Piano & Deadlands, Zena & Hercules TV movies).
Then you will walk to a beautiful series of waterfalls, appreciating the native trees of Kauri, Rimu and Pohutokawa, the shrub of Manuka, the palms of Nikau and the trees of Punga Silver fern. You will visit the Arataki Heritage Center, where you can admire 360 degree views of Tasman to the Pacific from the summit of the Waitakere Mountains.
After all that fresh air and exercise the next stop will be lunch. Being time to sit back, relax and enjoy your lunch together with the wine tasting in a small family winning winery restaurant.
Then in the afternoon, you will taste different types of wines that win medals in a personalized wine tasting tour of an interesting mix of three vineyards and family wineries before returning to the city. The tour ends at the same place where you started around 5:00 PM.

Cancellations received up to 3 days before departure time no charge.
Cancellations received between 3 days and 24 hours before departure time incur 50% fee.
Cancellations received within 24 hours of departure time, and no shows on the day, incur 100% fee.
Full payment is required once the tour has started.
