During 1 hour and 15 minutes you will have the opportunity to walk and listen to the real life stories of some of the most important inmates of Fremantle prison while you walk through the prison and you will discover how their crimes took over the community. The meeting point is in Fremantle Prison and the tour is daily from 11:45 AM every hour until 4:45 PM.

You'll hear stories of bushrangers, thieves and murderers, serial killers, bank robbers and escape artists. Along with your guide as you delve into 140 years of the criminal history of Western Australia. The tour has hearing aids available to translate in 7 different languages.

  1. What is the minimum age for the tour?

    The minimum age is 12 years old. Children between 12 and 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years old). It is recommended that at least two adults accompany groups of two or more children to ensure an adequate level of adult supervision. If a child can not complete the tour for any reason, it must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. Those 16 and 17 years old must have declaration forms signed by a parent or guardian, but can participate in the tour without the presence of an adult.
