Detailed Description
Our tour begins at 10:00 AM at the Bainton Bikes offices where you will meet your local guide and then, you will make a short walk through the streets, the suburbs and the countryside within Oxford. You will be able to know about 11 stops that will allow you to appreciate the contrasts of the city.
First, you will visit the historic university city of Oxford by bicycle, visit the buildings and land of the city. Afterwards, you will have lunch in a peculiar traditional punt boat and descend gently along the river to explore the university grounds. You will enjoy a traditional English lunch while you float along the Cherwell River.
Before finalizing, we will walk again by bicycle through the leafy suburbs visiting the houses of famous and current Oxonians and at this point you can enjoy a refreshing drink and take incredible photographs of the river. We will return to the same starting point at Oxford's 17th century Inn.
