You will travel to the west, where the industrial revolution began in Yorkshire and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Saltaire. Sir Titus Salt built the first model town in the world and its textile factory on the banks of the Aire River and named it Saltaire. His great idea of taking his workers from the slums of Bradford to the countryside helped to increase life by more than double.
