Detailed Description
On this half-day tour, you will leave the Tourism Village in Belize City, disembarking from your dinghy, look for the Diamonds International store in Terminal 2. Walk through the store to the Fort Street gate. At the door, a representative of Splash Wave Tours will receive you.
Next, you will travel by boat through the Belize River until you reach the lookout where you can admire the beautiful manatees. This animal is recognized as being grey or brown, quite wrinkled and covered with bristly hairs. Along the way, you will hear interesting facts about this animal and its lifestyle.
Before finishing the tour, you will enjoy a delicious snack and a short break. You will have enough time to take photos and document every second of this beautiful visit to the incredible mammals known as manatees. You will be back at the same starting point.
