Detailed Description
Learn all there is to know about sake with a Certified Sake Professional with this 2 hours tour, beginning with meeting your guide at Izumi Sake Brewery, from there start walking through the cobbled streets of Toronto’s historic Distillery District, meanwhile your guide will discuss how a simple mill evolved into the world’s largest distillery.
The next stop is at SOMA Chocolate Maker’s, one of the first shops to open the area for some tasty drinking chocolate, and lastly you will be returning to Izumi, the first sake brewery in Canada. In here you will meet the brewers, learn about how sake is made, and get a strong taste of sake culture. As you try sample of sake, you can taste traditional Japanese bar snacks. By the end you will have learned to identify the styles and flavors like a pro in this tour hours.
