Oxford to Bampton, The Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace

This 8 hour tour will start once the Footprints Tours team arrives to pick you up at your hotel at 8:30 AM on a comfortable bus that will take you out of town to an adventure you will never forget.

Next, you will know the first stop that will be the beautiful city of Bampton. This was chosen as the backdrop for scenes from the world-famous television series Downtown Abbey. You will get to know the church, the stage of wedding dramas and funeral scenes throughout the program. While admiring the city's landscapes you will hear the stories told by the guide about the Crwaley Family and the Old Grammar School.

Then, you will travel to the amazing Cotswolds villas that are often described as the most picturesque region of England. You can admire the surroundings of the place and appreciate the charming straw huts and the villages of the area. You will start by knowing Burford, known as the sixth best place to live in the world, then you will have a time to tour the town according to your points of interest.

The last tourist spot will be at the Blenheim Palace, home of Duke Marlborough. You will hear the story that the local guide has to tell you and you will admire the beautiful structure of the place. This is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, you will see the impressive State Rooms and the gardens of more than 750 hectares. At the end of the bus you will be taken back to your hotel.
