This 3 hour movie tour will take you through the most filmed city in the world. First you will be picked up in a city tour bus near Broadway and 51st Street, then you guide will take you on a tour of the city’s most recognizable locations sharing with you some of the TV and film industry's best kept secrets. Follow in the footsteps of your favorite characters when you hop off at different NYC locations throughout your tour, ending at the same point you started.

  • Visit locations from Friends including their apartment building.
  • Pass the hotels featured in Modern Family.
  • See the pub that Michael Keaton frequents in Birdman.

Detailed Description

The experience of this 3 hour movie tour begins when your guide picks you up at Broadway and 51st Street in the heart of New York City, the Times Square. Here you will see where Kimmy and Titus sing their hearts out in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Pass the famous steps where the cast of Glee and where Jamie introduced Dylan to the word “Flash Mob” in Friends with Benefits. Then pass the bar where Michael Keaton has his post performance drink in Birdman.

As you venture into Columbus Circle you’ll see famous buildings like The Time Warner Center and Trump International. Appearing in and movies like Tower Heist, Enchanted and Ghostbusters, Columbus Circle is a New York staple that cannot be missed.

Down the Central Park South, you will get a glimpse of the locations that have set the stage in several the industry’s latest and greatest. See the most filmed building in the world, The Plaza Hotel, as seen in films such as American Hustle and The Great Gatsby. The Plaza’s Oak Room Bar set the stage Hitchcock’s North by Northwest and was featured in the last season of Mad Men. Out front is the beautiful Pulitzer Fountain that was replicated in the opening credits of Friends and where Blair and Serena danced on Gossip Girl.

You can’t miss Rockefeller Center, home to NBC Studios where The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, and countless other TV shows and movies film. The NYC TV & Movie Tour ends at McGee’s Pub, the inspiration for MacLaren’s Pub in How I Met Your Mother, where you’ll have the opportunity to take photos, grab a drink or dine at the spot that inspired the “bromance” between Barney, Ted and Marshall.

  1. Are we on the bus the whole tour?

    Absolutely not! The tour takes place on a coach bus since the locations are spread out throughout the city. Each tour will get off the bus at several different locations along the way, giving you the opportunity to experience the locations and take pictures. Whenever you leave the bus, it is with the tour guide.

  2. Are cameras allowed on the tour?

    Yes. While photography and filming are not allowed on the bus portion of the tour, there are some great spots for taking photos and videos at our numerous stops along the way. You may take photos out the window at the various locations your guide is highlighting.

  3. Are kids ages 1-5 free?

    Children 1-5 are free however we cannot guarantee them a seat. If the bus is full they may have to sit on a lap. If someone wants a guaranteed seat they need to purchase this.
