Detailed Description
On this incredible 7 hour tour, the meeting point with your guide will be at the Deepwater Basin boat ramp before the dive tour. This is a unique experience in the underwater world of Milford, offering the most spectacular wall diving in Fiord and a totally unique ecological system of black coral trees. Coral trees have an impressive white appearance on a jet-black skeleton and are usually found only in deep water trenches.
Thanks to Milford's heavy rains that produce a mixture of fresh and salt water on the surface with huge mountains casting their shadows over the waters, enough light is blocked to allow these beautiful coral trees to call the Piopiotahi Marine Reserve of Milford its home.
During your tour in the depth, you will see dolphins, seals, sharks, eels, octopus, rays, crabs, nudibranchs and more than 150 different species of fish. Once the tour is over, you will return to where you started around 4:00 PM.

If Descend Scuba Diving cancels the trip due to improper conditions or the inability to provide the trip, then this does not result in a charge.
