Detailed Description
Enjoy a full day tour, in which you will be picked up at your hotel by your guide to travel in small and comfortable buses with air conditioning. Enjoying the experience as you travel from Queenstown to the agricultural country of Southland and around the mountains in the impressive Fiordland National Park. You will have time to enjoy each stop and take pictures.
Lunch will be barbecue style in the famous Fiordland National Park, while your driver prepares a delicious lunch, you can take a short walk and breathe the fresh air of the Alps. There are some fantastic walks in the area and this is a great opportunity for you to experience the closeness to the beautiful alpine beech forest. The stop for lunch and walking is a good opportunity to meet the other people on the bus.
Then you enjoy a delicious lunch and head towards the spectacular Milford Sound cruise. It is a fairly large boat, its interior is quite comfortable and has large windows for an excellent view of the magnificent surroundings, you can also see the native wildlife such as dolphins, seals and penguins. The duration is about the boat trip is 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is free tea and coffee on the boat or enjoy the fresh water of the mountain.
After the boat ride, you will end your day at Milford Sound with an unforgettable scenic flight back to Queenstown, enjoying the best views of Milford Sound for 40 minutes. When you arrive in Queenstown you will be offered transportation to return to your hotel.
