Detailed Description
The tour will begin at 9:00 AM, when you will be picked up from your hotel in Bath in a comfortable 9-seater van by your guide for the day. You will then be transported away from the crowds and city to explore the wonderful English landscape of green fields and rural roads.
First, you will visit a quintessential English village dating back to Saxon times, of quaint, thatched, stone cottages. . This place is also known for being the setting for different television series and movies like Pride and Prejudice, Cranford, Harry Potter and Downtown Abbey.
You will pass ancient churches and small country houses, feed ducks in an old village pond and learn the history of this beautiful county. Then, you will go to another jewel of the Cotswolds, also the scene of films like War House, Stardust and Dr. Doolittle., walk around the picturesque village and church, and see a knight!
There will be a guided tour of a stunning 15th Century moated manor house; another location for several films and television series including Wives & Daughters, The Other Boleyn and Poldark.
You will have a delicious lunch in a country pub and before, finishing the afternoon, enjoy a typical English afternoon tea. The tour will end at the same starting point at your accommodation in Bath, at approximately 5:15 PM.

For inclusive (price per seat) tours, all tours are fully refundable up to one week before the tour. Between seven and two calendar days before the date of a tour a 50% refund is available. Any cancellations made within the two days leading up to the date of a tour are non-refundable.

All our tour experiences are designed to be as accessible as possible and most people with average or even below average mobility and health should be able to enjoy every part of our experiences. Each one does require a small amount of walking however, so if walking more than a few hundred yards poses a difficulty, please contact us and we can advise you on whether a particular experience is suitable. Of course, we will do our best to accommodate your needs as much as possible.
