Start your 8 hour walking tour of Los Angeles in Hollywood in front of the Pantages Theater (where else) here you will meet your guide and then he will show you how and why LA became the center of the American entertainment industry. There’s a huge amount of fascinating movie history on the famous Walk of Fame, including the oldest house in Hollywood (where Charlie Chaplin’s kids went to school), the Capitol Records Building, the Egyptian Theater and the TCL Chinese Theater, and you’ll learn about it all.
Next, we take the subway to downtown. Downtown is the most dynamic part of the city it’s also the best preserved historic downtown of any major city in the U.S. It’s where the city started and there are a huge number of iconic buildings there. By this time, you will be hungry, so we pause your tour of Los Angeles for lunch at one of the top food destinations in America Grand Central Market.

After lunch the tour continues in DTLA, then we head to Santa Monica on the Expo Line. It’s a lovely way to travel through the West Side. Once in SaMo the guide will give you a tour of the area (including the famous Santa Monica Pier), before finishing your tour of Los Angeles at 3rd Street Promenade, a perfect place to watch the sun set while enjoying cocktails and dinner. By now you’ll have had a real experience of L.A. and made some great memories to take home with you.

Absolutely, we love kids. Just remember, though, that we can’t change the content of any of our group tours to suit your children.

If it’s raining/very hot do you still do the tour?
We never cancel a tour due to the weather. If it’s raining bring an umbrella. If it’s hot bring water and sun block. You’ve only got a few days to experience Los Angeles – you’re not going to let the weather stop you, are you?
