Live the authentic wine tasting experience. On this half day tour you will meet your guide at 8:45 AM at the offices of Italy on a Budget to travel by minivan to Chianti Classico, a wine region a few hours away from Florence. After enjoying the view and tasting they will return around 2:00 PM to the same place of beginning.

Detailed Description
On this half day tour, during 4.5 hours we will discover the Chianti Classico wine region. You will meet your guide at 8:45 AM at the offices of Italy on a Budget at via nazionale 149R, Firenze.
On board a minivan you will start your journey to the wine region, the first stop is less than an hour outside of Florence, it is a winery located inside a historic castle in the heart of the Chianti region, surrounded by cypresses, olive trees and vineyards After a guided tour through the ancient wineries learning about wine production, you will finally taste their delicious and famous wines.
During the wine tasting you will also try the renowned black rooster Chianti Classico Wine and the extra virgin olive oil in YMMY bruschette. After a short trip you will arrive at the second and last stop, a winery called Granja Local Family Run and you will discover that small wine producers can also make an incredible wine.
After living an authentic experience where you learned how grapes and olives are harvested by hand and at the same time taste the result of the hard work of wine lovers. You will return to Florence around 2:00 PM to the same place where you started.
