Half Day Rafting Barron River

During this half-day tour you will go to Barron Gorge National Park which is only 20 minutes from downtown Cairns. You will meet at our offices to meet your guide and start the adventure. The park is known for its rugged rainforest mountains, rugged ravines, the mighty Barron Falls and, of course, Barron Gorge, which has been excavated for thousands of years by the Barron River.

And that's where you'll do your half-day white water rafting tour, in the ebb and flow of the Barron River, while you descend from the mountains and head towards the Coral Sea. This is a picturesque rafting / rainforest adventure that combines calm waters floating with a series of whitewater rapids for adventure and action.

The half day tour of the Barron River is a fantastic introduction to the white waters of Rafting. It's fun, exciting and full of adrenaline, suitable for the whole family. You can enjoy up to two hours of rafting, in grade 3 rapids.

The rafts carry up to seven passengers plus their river guide. No experience is needed. When you finish your rafting adventure you will return to the same meeting point.
