Detailed Description
The 8-hour tour begins at La Hacienda San Isidro with a great welcome to all attendees, who will be given a Panama hat. From there, you will start the tour by cart through the cane fields until you reach the first point, where the cane is ground for the extraction of its juice, in this part you can see the old methods of extraction.
In the second part of the tour, you will see mixing and fermenting vats of the cane juice to obtain the alcohol that will be used in the manufacture of the dry and the rums. The tour continues visiting the huge aging cellars, where the different rum products are aged in barrels.
After this exciting tour, you can enjoy a variety of cocktails based on rum, a delicious lunch and in the end a tasting of rums led by great experts from the field.
