Friday Evening Vatican Tour

You will visit the Vatican at the hand of your guide. You will meet him at the Octagonal Courtyard which will be your starting point at 7:30 PM. During this tour you will see the masterpieces of the Vatican Museums and the incredible frescoes of Michelangelo inside the splendid Sistine Chapel, illuminated by the captivating light of dusk. In addition, during the visit to the Sistine Chapel, you can listen to the background music of a small orchestra that will perform a repertoire of classical music live. It's what we like to call a "colorful concert".

You will visit the Vatican Museums at night, without the agglomeration that occurs during the day, with all the illuminated works and a suggestive calm and relaxed atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to visit, with a detailed explanation of your guide, the Estancias de Rafael, famous for the frescoes that adorn them (especially "The Athens School"), painted by Rafael and his students.

At the end of the tour you will visit the Sistine Chapel illuminated by the fascinating light of dusk. This type of lighting is similar to Michelangelo's while painting his most famous masterpiece, so you can relive the same atmosphere that Michelangelo lived at that time while doing his work.

After leaving the Sistine Chapel, the tour ends just outside the Vatican walls at 9:30 PM. Being free to visit other places such as St. Peter's Basilica or admire the square at night.
