This 2 hour night walking tour explore Victory Square, Chinatown, and Gastown Vancouver’s most historic neighborhoods. Starting in the world of the saloon, you will trace the story of Vancouver’s forbidden history while winding along the city’s most historic streets. During the tour you will hear tales of “blind pigs,” corrupt mayors, and enterprising bootleggers.
Plus you will have the opportunity to see first hand evidence of opium dens and walk down an alleyway once teeming with over 40 bawdy houses. Along the tour you will see some of the city’s greatest heritage buildings like the Sun Tower and the Dominion Building, which once battled to become the tallest building in the British Empire. The tour finishes in Gastown, steps from the city’s most talked about bars and restaurants.

- In the summer we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket, since it can get chilly in the evenings
- In the spring or fall please bring a waterproof jacket and sturdy footwear. Hat and gloves will help on colder nights.

Are children allowed?
Our tours are designed for adult audiences and do contain references to adult themes. We don’t recommend them for children.
Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
The Forbidden Tour, Lost Souls of Gastown, and Art Deco & Chocolate Tasting walking tours are all wheelchair accessible. Secrets of Stanley Park and Secrets of the Penthouse are not wheelchair accessible.
What if it rains?
Our tours happen rain or shine. Vancouver can be a little wet at times, so we recommend you bring an umbrella. We have crafted tour routes that have scenes under cover wherever possible using roofs, archways, awnings or even indoors. So, there will always be opportunities to stay dry on the tour.
