Food and Wine Day Tour
You will join your guide at the Provence and Wine offices in the morning for a 3 hour walking food tour. Then you will have free time at Avignon before you meet your next guide who will drive you to your second destination, Chateuneuf du Pape for a walking tour through the vineyards and a visit to a winery and a tasting in a Chateau before he drives you back to the Provence and Wine where this 9 hour tour ends.

Detailed Description
This tour includes food, wine and sightseeing. In the morning you will have a walking food tour in Avignon and in the afternoon, you will go to Chateuneuf du Pape to learn about wine process, wineries and grapes.
Your will meet your guide in the Provence and Wine offices who will take you for a 3 hour visit to discover the city's history. You will visit traditional shops and have a variety of tastings. One of your stops in the morning is the colorful Les Halles.
At 12:30 you will have free time in Avignon. Then you will meet your second tour guide, an expert sommelier, who will drive you to Chateuneuf du Pape to walk with you in the vineyards and explain about the grape varieties, climate and soils and their impact on the production.
Your second stop is at a family owned winery. Your guide will explain about vinification and aging process. You will have a wine tasting of barrel wine. Then you will go to a Chateau for another wine tasting before your guide drives you back to the Provence and Wine offices.

Deposit: Deposits paid on reservation are non-refundable.
Half Refund: Half refunds are given when cancellations are made at least 1 week (7 days) prior to the tour date.
No Refund: We are unable to give refunds for tours that are cancelled less than 1 week (7 days) prior to the tour date.
