On a full day tour by car, you will be picked up at 7:00 AM in our offices, to begin our tour of the Dampier Peninsula. You will enjoy spectacular views and landscapes and learn more about the culture, finally arriving at Cabo Leveque to see the sunset. You will return to the same meeting point around 7:00 PM.

  • Admire the pearl altar of the church of the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community.
  • Tour the pearl farm at Cygnet Bay.
  • Visit the famous red cliffs of Western Beach.

Detailed Description

Have fun on a full day tour by car, the meeting point will be in our offices you will leave Broome after breakfast at 7:00 AM, to start your tour of the spectacular Dampier Peninsula, also known as "Dampier Land". The Dampier is a predominantly aboriginal land and is a sight for travelers seeking a Kimberley experience that is culturally rewarding in a beautiful setting. Traveling on the red track 'pindan' 4WD, you will learn about the fascinating place of the peninsula in the history of Australia thanks to your guide who will tell you the history behind the place. Your first stop will be at the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, home of the Beagle Bay Church and its gleaming pearl shell altar, where you will enjoy a morning tea.

Then you will travel north to the remote community of One Arm Point, the perfect place to see the spectacular Buccaneer archipelago and witness the huge tidal waves of Kimberley, you will also visit the community aquaculture hatchery, which is full of fish of reef and shell of trochus. When you arrive at the beautiful Cygnet Bay you will join an incredible Pearl Farm Tour where you will learn about the world's largest and most beautiful pearls that have been cultivated in these crystal clear waters for generations in the family business. Then you will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the chef.

Then you will go to the dazzling Cabo Leveque and drive along the beach to the isolated stop. You will enjoy a quiet stroll along the beach and you will see the famous red cliffs of Western Beach before returning. Finally you will return to the same place you started around 7:00 PM.
