Detailed Description
This tour begins at your chosen location, which can be Bordeaux, 26 rue de la Devise, where you will go to St Emilion in a minivan or directly from St Emilion, 1 bis place Bouqueyre, where you will begin you 7 hour travel around the historic wine region.
You will arrive to your first chateau and spend an hour learning the wine making process and history and enjoy a wine tasting before your picnic lunch where you will try a wide variety of breads, cheeses and cold meats surrounded by beautiful scenery.
After lunch you will have more bycicle riding that include stops at the best views and landmarks you will find along the way. Then you will stop at another chateaux to have another wine tasting. The tour ends cycling back to the village where you will have another tasting at a wine merchant.

What happens if it rains?
If it is light rain, we will provide you with rain jackets or you can bring your own. If it’s heavy rain on the FULL DAY, we will adapt and do the tour in a minivan (refunding you the difference between your tour and the Famous Monk Tour). As our minivans are 8 seaters, guests coming from Bordeaux will have the priority for the tour (if there are more than 8 guests total). In this case guests departing from St Emilion will receive a full refund. For heavy rain on the HALF DAY tour we will refund the tour in full as there is no minivan option. According to the forecast we will contact you in advance by email.
