This is a walking tour of 1.5 hours, where you will meet your guide at Wynwood, this tour provides you an overview of the now world renowned Wynwood phenomenon. Rising above its history of race riots (back in 1990) and gang violence, Wynwood has welcomed artists, restaurateurs, developers, and globe-trotters. It is an astonishing incubator of diversity and art. Don’t miss out on this major phenomenon of your generation.
You will visit 1 or 2 galleries offering contemporary art and see many of the murals in the area. Although specific murals are constantly changing, the area is filled with murals from international street art superstars, like David Walker and Interesni Kazki. You will learn about the artists, about their techniques and stories. Understanding who they are and why they paint will enhance your enjoyment of the art.
