Steps of the Gothic Cathedral
English and Spanish
Meet your guide in the steps of Cathedral de Barcelona on Pla de la Seu. He/she will be holding a light blue umbrella and wearing a name tag.
You will discover a Medieval gem of Barcelona, the lesser-explored and stylish neighbourhood of El Born, on this free walking tour. The district houses the incredibly well-preserved Ciutadella, Barcelona's Gothic Church, and beautiful gardens, as well as a host of lively cafés & bars, museums, galleries, designer stores and boutique shops.
This 2.5 hour tour is the ideal way to explore Barcelona's transition from important Medieval port city to the modern and innovative metropolis it is today, while visiting the must-see sights, beautiful architecture, unique works of the local Modernism Movement, and historic Medieval sites.

FREE TOURS are operated on a tips-only basis whereby you can tip the tour guide what you feel like on the tour, but this is not obligatory. Tour guides are freelance guides and do not receive any income for these tours other than tips.
The tours are for individual travellers and pre-booking is not necessary, however we strongly recommend doing so as pre-booking gives you priority on tours in the highly unlikely case that we cannot accommodate everyone on a particular tour.
Individuals are expected to arrive to the meeting point no later than ten minutes before scheduled tour starting time. Available places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
