All cancellations will be charged a 6% cancellation fee of the total amount.

Cancellations should be carried out at least two days before the date of your booked tour.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to a booked tour will incur an additional fee of $20.00 USD.

A reimbursement to your credit/debit card will occur after 15 – 20 days from the date of request.

There will be no refund on unused tickets or cancellations made on the same day of a tour.

In case of a no-show on the day of the tour, a refund of the total amount (minus the 6% handling fee) will be made ONLY upon receipt of a medical certificate justifying the no-show.

Change of the date of the tour can be done within 48 hours prior to the tour date.

All cancellations or change of dates can be done by phone or email.

1. Are we able to do activities with children?

   Yes, you are, small children are allowed (no younger than 6 years old). It is important to note that a responsible parent or guardian will have to take full responsibility for assuring that the child is under constant supervision.

2. What is the minimum age for activities?

   6 years old.

3. Are your expeditions suited for everyone?

   Our expeditions are not suited for people with severe physical disabilities, heart diseases, pregnant women and for people under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

4. What is the maximum weight for the activities? (zip line, rappel and kayak)

   267 lbs. or 120 kg.

5. What is the difference between cobá maya encounter and cobá maya village?

   In Cobá Maya Encounter beside the visit to the archaeological site, adventure activities are also made, however Cobá Maya Ville is characterized as 100% informative about the Mayan way of life, custom and habits interacting with some of the families in the living área.

6. How long do we stay at the archaelogical site of tulum, cobá and ek balam?

   Around 2 hours

7. How should one dress and what items should one bring to the expedition?

   We recommend comfortable clothing with a bathing suit on underneath, an additional set of dry clothes, a long sleeve t-shirt, please only bring biodegradable suntan lotion and mosquito repellent. Note: To avoid the pollution of our cenotes, we kindly ask you to not use any suntan lotion or mosquito repellent until advised by our guide.

8. What kind of food do you offer to the expeditions? Is there a veggie option?

   We offer a typical regional buffet, although there is not a special menu designed for vegetarian, we do have vegetable soup, potato patties, salad, rice, beans , and fruit of the season.

9. What are the height and distance of the zip lines?

   The height of the zip-lines varies between 6 meters to 25 meters. The distance of the zip-lines varies between 60 meters to 210 meters.

10. What are the height of the rappel lines?

    The height of the rappel lines varies between 8 meters to 25 meters.

11. Do you provide towels?

    Yes, we do.

12. Do we need to bring some money with us?

    It is highly recommended to carry cash or credit card, because in all our expeditions there are photo service, which are available for sale at the end of the activities, there are also selling handcrafts and “souvenirs” in general , and of course, if it is considered such a good service, you can give tips to the guide or/and the staff.

13. If it rain do you cancel the expeditions?

    No, our expeditions can be performed even if it rains. In this case rain is a great advantage since it makes the expedition more exciting and memorable, for your security we do avoid using zip-line and rappel when there is thunderstorms along with the rain.
