Detailed Description

First, we will walk to the 14 Avenida, where Don Richard will let you taste his amazing Tostadas de Guacamole, those are delicious fried corn tortilles with avocado.

After this amazing experience, we walk to the 4th Street to meet Doña Josefina. She's an indigenous local K'Iche woman and an excellent cook. We will drink an atolito de elote with her and eat some famous chuchitos with tomato sauce.

To learn more about the local kitchen of Xela, we will receive a cooking class from Doña Letty, to learn more about how to prepare the Rellenitos, famous for the combation of plantains and sweet beans. It's an experience not to miss!

For lunch, you can not miss the Quichom with rice and hand made tortillas. It's a little spicy because of all the condiments, but intensely delicious. For dinner, you will be tasting Pupusas, corn tortillas filled with cheese or pork meat.

At the end of the two and a half hour tour, we will be visitting the Chocolatería Doña Pancha. There we will enjoy the hand-made chocolate. You'll receive a cup of pure and hot chocolate or a delicious Chocofruta, which is fruit covered with chocolate.

Do participate in this marvellous tour!
