Detailed Description
The tour of the city of Portland begins at Director Park and from there you will head to the center of the city to reach Park Blocks, a park full of works of art, sculptures and more. Then, they will go to Ladd's Addition, the oldest neighborhood in Portland. During your trip you will be diverted a little to get to Pioneer Courthouse Square, a public space with more than 40,000 m2 (square meters).
The first stop will be at the International Rose Test Garden, place that makes Portland bear the name of "City of Roses." In this place there are more than 650 varieties of roses and more than 10,000 shrubs.
The next stop will be in the Pittock Mansion, saved from the demolition in 1964 today the mansion serves as a museum and has a well-kept garden. You will have the opportunity to explore the interiors of the mansion.
From here, you will continue exploring Portland's most famous neighborhoods, and then arrive at Lan Su Chinese Garden, one of the most authentic Chinese gardens outside of China.
* During the winter the rose garden is not at its best due to weather conditions, so the tour will be at the Hoyt Arboretum. Here you will learn about the trees and plants of the Pacific Northwest.

Where does the tour start exactly?
The general tour pick up and drop off location will be in Director Park in downtown Portland, at the corner SW Taylor and SW 9th across the street from Starbucks. This location is easily accessible via the public transit system (MAX line, street car and bus) and is also within walking distance of most downtown hotels. If you are arriving by car, there is a convenient public parking garage near Director Park called SmartPark Garage. Please plan to meet your guide for the Director Park pick up 5 minutes before the tour start time.
